Turning it into local money
Being paid in USDT is only half the job if your rent is due in local currency. The usual route is a person-to-person marketplace on an exchange: you sell your USDT to a buyer, the buyer pays into your bank or mobile wallet, and the exchange releases the coins once you confirm. That last confirmation is the risky step, and several guides here are built around getting it right. Others step back and ask whether you should convert straight away at all, or compare the whole chain of costs with a traditional money-transfer service. Rules on selling crypto for local money vary by country and sometimes by bank. Check what applies to you before you set up a regular routine.
